Ian Warren
Background
In 2002 Ian moved from South Africa to New Zealand and practiced as Ian Warren & Associates where he was involved in construction management, estimating, project management and project management training.
In 2006 Ian founded PMTL as a specialist Project Management organisation. Ian has made a lifelong career as a Project Manager, Specialist Consultant, Trainer and Mentor.
Professional Experience
Ian has over thirty five years of work experience in various aspects of the construction industry, project management, contract management and quantity surveying.
Ian has assisted in the establishment and development of professional consulting companies and services and supporting both Local and National government initiatives. He has substantial practical experience of applying accepted best practice in generic project management, programme management and community facilitation with specific reference to procurement, project controls, financial management and in implementing work processes, systems analysis and design.
During his career Ian has gained considerable overseas experience working on projects in South Africa, Namibia, Botswana and Mozambique before settling in New Zealand in 2002.
